this guy is offering me a soundcraft folio Si 18/2 for £150 including delivery,
is that better than the mackie?
or a folio F1 12/2 for the same price...
should i get one.. which one or keep searching for the Mackie?

mmm difficult decision mackie are bloody expensive even 2nd hand, i'd presonally get the most amount of inputs possible because when u upgrade or add bits and pieces u might have to upgrade ur mixer to accommodate more inputs :( soundcraft are good mixers imo so u might have found a bargin

cheers the mackie and the Si are the same price second hand..
i know nothing of mixers and couldnt find anyhting on the web about the Si, so i presumed it was duff.
but the cheque is on its way to the man with the Si!
thanks again!
I might need your help once again mate, after i set all this up, bought my nice new paint for the studio today, found a violin and made a vocal anti popper thing..
its so much fun!
could you recomend a cheap mic.. i want to get a couple to mic a room under £30 each.. for vocals and instruments,
cheers!

well, nice price for the inputs. quality wise I prefer Mackie by far, but folio does good and if u are running lots of outputs (or plan to) its a better choice.
