Without proper low end management, they usually do much more harm than good.

*With* proper bass management, they're great at controlling minor flutter and comb filtering.

They're also reasonably decent ant building "ghetto booths" for projecting out of a corner (as long as the corner itself is reasonably treated in the low end).

Am I not allowed to use the term "ghetto" because I'm not black?

The term "ghetto" started in Italy - It's the areas of the cities where Jews congregated and lived. They weren't black...

I'm not Italian or Jewish either... And I'm certainly not a racist... But really, aren't we getting a little too "P.C." about this?

in a literal sense your on point...my problem is the figurative sense that applies today and yes you'd have to be black to understand...i'm only appling it to its figurative definition 21st century style...

well im black and from jamaica queens.First of all it is the "ghetto" in all 3 senses of the word
    the literal
    the slang
    the mental

most black people take ghetto as a mindstate. For the mindstate to make something out of nothin is "ghetto".The fact that your tryin to use blankets to substitute for real soundproof is indeed ghetto.

    wow.

you did NOT just call someone racist against black people for using the term 'ghetto'.

have you ever heard of the Warsaw Ghetto my friend? this **** offends me. Nothing involving 21st century ghettos can come close to what happened last century. And it had _nothing_ to do with american cities, american culture, or anything.

you'd have to be black to understand? bull****. absolute bull****.

Well, actually Ghetto means a place where Hunger and Poverty is present, and that means ghetto is a PLACE where people lives and had some struggle, and that doesn't mean Ghetto is for one specific race...
