yo, im thinking of recording vocals but i dunt know how to make them sound good. i see alot of people put up a blanket around the booth, is that a good idea, or should i get some of those acoustic isolation pads and put them on the wall. what do i do for the ceiling and the floor, i have carpet for my floor. does cup holders work like the ones in hustle and flow?:hello:

Dont worry about it. Just record them. You are gonna be close mic'd anyway so not too much room sound will be in there.

The mic and pre-amp is gonna make the most difference in your recording. If you don't have a mic I would suggest looking into Studio Projects...they make amazing mics for dirt. I got one with a pre for like 2 bills, it is a engineered copy of a 2500 dollar mic. As long as ther isnt too much room/computer noise this mic will do you just right.
