Listening is Paramount
Since by chance happening onto this very informative site looking for info on a 3rd party MPC1000 OS. I've now become informed that the idea of the vocal booth is no good (just in time I might add as I'm still in the planning stages of my basement studio).
So since my plan to build a booth in the corner is no good, and I still only have a limited amout of space and still desire physical seperation from me and the vocalist. I'm exploring the idea of the "diamond booth", (which I recall Massive mentioning in passing is a "diffrent story" when it comes to booths). Is this possibly a viable altnerative to recording in the same room I mix in?
I do only really have the space for the smallest design in the picture below
