Does anyone know were any good resources for beginners can learn about room physics and how to treat rooms to get rid of flutter, bass, reverb, etc.

I recently posted a topic about a room I'm building right now it can be found here. Nobody really replyed to it but I put some pics in there to show what I'm working with

Good resourses there. I read the one of these before it was very educational.

Originally I was thinking of getting a bunch of GIK Acoustic panels but for the amount I need its pretty expensive considering shipping (I know there dirty cheap) So I'm wondering if its better to build my own.

The ceiling is only 74" high and thats about a foot to short to have 2 of these panels from floor to roof without overlap, so I was just thinking of building my own bass trap on the front and rear walls.
