Question about mic placement in my room (picture) and acoustics...

Hey guys what do you think would be the best place to record vocals in the setup below? I also have 2 extra 4" bass traps that are portable (in my TV room) that I can use. The panels are frames I made from Owens Corning 403 fiberglass.

I've been watching a ton of Youtubes but i'm still not quite sure.

Could i set the extra traps somewhere to help out on the acoustics? and where should I face when actually recording. I'm thinking maybe having my back against the closet?

thanks

EDIT: My desk is actually more centered (bad drawing)

center of the room for the mic and make sure you listen the beat on your headphones (cans)

I'd probably set the mic slightly off center from any dimension and just record facing the opposite direction that your desk is at. The extra panels from the other room would then just be used in front of you between the closet and the mic.
