Question about Cubase VST

Hi.. I can get a version of Cubase VST I think version 3.6 or 3.7 not sure for about R360 which translates to
$45

Is this a good deal and is this version still fine for production?

Does this older version supprt the VST 2 Standard?

What is the current version V4.0?

$45 seems well cheap to me.

Is it good enough for production...how long's a piece of string? It's definitely a start.

You're right, KasioRoks, current version is Version 5 (Release 6 ready, or 7 as public beta).
The price U give is very cheap and the version is still good enough for production.
And, as far as I know, VST2 is supported. (but who am I ?)
