Ive seen these a lot, the pre-amp, eq , compressor, ect. Does anyone have any opinions on these pieces of equipment? They are all low priced ( $99 for each) but ive read rave reviews on them for the price range. Now before some one says " you get what you pay for" i know that. Im looking to upgrade from an M-Audio Audio Buddy Pre-amp which im running my Studio Projects C3 Condenser through. Any thoughts are appreciated.

these suckers are good little units and a move up from an audio buddy for sure...i would probably hold out on the compressor and look more in the direction of a DBX unit......

I just got my Eureka and it's a pretty nice piece. got bass and guitar sounding real nice on the instrument DI.

With the minis, I'd stay away from the compressor since it only has non-configurable presets. The EQ and pre are probably well worth the money. there's also the little 4-headphone amp one which looks pretty useful if you need that kind of thing. i might cop it myself.

But those compressors presets aren't that bad if you don't know what you are doing with a compressor. :)

I didn't find the headphone amp a big leap ahead of a Rolls HA-43 or anything though...save a few bucks...but if matching gear is important then...well../you know.

Also, if you are a software user for your DAW, there are some GREAT compressors for software...I love the Waves and Sonitus stuff I got loaded into my Sonar 3 PE. I'd rather spend more cash on an GOOD outboard pre-amp and use software compressors until cash is no issue then buy a DECENT preamp and a DECENT compressor.

i've got the acp-22 compressor and it's pretty good. it has a very fast release, so it makes a good limiter for drums.

Yeah, the Presonus units are good. if they are at your budget level, get them - you will not be disappointed.

best
