Please Help Me Decide! (Mixer Choices)

Okay Im trying to upgrade a couple things in my studio.

I recently upgraded from a Behringer B1 to a Rode NT1000 mic.

Right now I have a Behringer MX802A mixer. It only has 2 stereo inputs and I was planning on upgrading to a better mixer with more stereo inputs.

I have the option of buying a Mackie 1402vlz pro mixer (slightly used but in excellent condition) for $200.

Or

Buying a new Behringer UB1222fx mixer for $200 which I believe just came out.

Behringer UB1222fx

I want to upgrade to a mixer with better quality mic pres then the MX802a mixer I have right now.

The UB series Pres are suppossed to be better quality the the MX series...and the Mackie VLZ PRO series are suppossed to be really good also.

Can someone Please give me some suggestions on what might be the better choice.

I have the Mackie 1402 and it is very nice... you will be satisfied with the 1402!

seems like the mackie would be the best choice for the price ($200).

I see the 1402 vlz pro going for over $250 on ebay.

I think Im going to just go with the mackie.

Thanks for everyone's input.

Go for the mackie. It's worth it. Behringer aint that great. I still use it though but the clarity of sound is very different (lots of noise when you turn it on) than other mixers and mackie's pretty much top of the line.

thanks for the reply.

I bought it from the guy and he said he would return my money if I was unhappy with it.

It still looks brand new though. I'ma test it out more tomorrow.
