Cool. I just got rid of the same exact controller keyboard that you have (the nasty 49-key one). I had gotten it a few years ago new in the box for $50 on ebay. I gave it away to my cousin after I bought an Evolution MK 249c.
hey, what do you think of those M-Audio Studiophiles ? I have been lookin at them to complement my setup, but have not actually had any decent feedback from people that actually own them.
Also, you checked out my setup, I got the 2 TFT/LCD screen setup do in my room, check out the pictures on my site (you will need to scroll to the bottom of the page)
Lemme know :]
OK, I got all this hardware and software, now how the hell do I use it ?

Hi. Thanks for the interest...
1. The studiophiles are good, although the rerverb in that room is h8uge, due to the tiled floors and large dimensions. The studio is normally in another room, but there's no air conditioning in there, so I moved it to the bedroom for the summer. It'll all go back in a couple of weeks... (I demo'd the SP-8B's and sub in another room, they sound really good)
2. As for a guitar, anything by Yamaha is usually a safe bet. For electrics, choose a Pacifica, they're fairly good and can be really forgiving to the new player.
An acoustic's always the best way to start though, have a play with a couple in the shop and ask the guy/girl (No sexism here) for advice.
You shouldn't need to spend any more that £100 on the acoustic and £150 on the Pacifica. In my opinion though, try for an electro-acoustic...Will save you having to close-mic a standard acoustic if you want to incorporate that sound in your music. (Might cost a bit more though...)
Once again, thanks for the interest.

Couldn't Find Server, Sorry Dude. Sounds Dope Though.
This evening, (finally !) I'm gonna repaint my small studio room.
Last weekend - with a little help of my father-in-law - I already made my customized 19" rack (1m80 high), and now I'm looking for a Moog Memorymoog to finish the whole thing.
And by the end of October I'm gonna finish a new record.
This is what they call in Flanders (Belgium) a "boerejaar".
