need help
i have a stupid problem with my new dj mixer i need help with. the components involved are a mini beringer mixing board, a new tascam xs8 dj mixer, a pdx2000 turntable, and a dell laptop with an external audiophile usb sc. the problem is that when i hook up my new tascam dj mixer into my setup as shown below i can hear strange feedback from my computer. it sounds almost like i can hear my hard drive running. it does not record the sound but it is extremely irritating because i bought the beringer mixing board so that i could record and monitor before the sound card and listen to everything i was doing in one set of reference speakers and still multitrack without over dubbing. when i hook my old mixer up, (a vestax 06) the problem disappears. that means the problem is with the new tascam xs8. anyone have any idea what i could try before i return the mixer???
