Need advice on active nearfields.

Hi, im looking for some good active refrence monitors but, im on a budget and i dont know whats the best ones to go for? It a small project studio so they dont need to be any bigger then 5" to 8". Ive been looking at TANNOY REVEALS, KRK V4S, EVENT TR8S, YAMAHA MSP5s & TAPCO S8S. They all have pretty good reviews and i was wondering how they faired against each other, and if there are better ones in that kinda price range. Can anyone help?

I would go to a Guitar Center and try them but from what Ive heard the Alesis M1 MK2 are really really goo.d This is from people on this site. Alot of people use them too. KRK are really good too I heard like the V6 and V8
