MXL 990 Vs. Samson CO1 Condenser

I am 15 and looking at these two mics the MXL 990 comes with the mic, shockmount and case for 69$ and the samson CO1 costs 69$ and i have an antares microphone modulator and i wanted to kno if i would to use the modulator would the sound be any diffrent (because the modulator can make any mic sound like any mic if u get what i am saying) or would it be a diffrence in the mic that i choose.

My Other question is your opinions on the two mics, which is better for mah $70 budget.

I never tried either, but I can tell u this. Look into the Studio Projects B1. I was in your position a little over a year ago and copped it and I haven't been disappointed. Read about them here:
