    if u buy a multi track recorder does it have everthing on it to make a beat?

    Your confused a multitrack recorder is for recording not making beats with the exception of a few that have built in samplers and beat machines but theyre nothing you would rely on to make beats.You should look into some production gear it's so much stuff out there.What do you want to produce on software or hardware amd what kind of music are you going to be making if you tell me that then maybe I could help you find what you are looking for.

    You should get a boss sampler or a rack sampler like the akai s series.If you get a rack sampler you need a midi controller and a sequencer.
