Midiman Oxygen 8 vs. Akai MPD16

I'm considering getting one of these midi controllers to use in conjunction with Fruityloops. Right now, I'm leaning more toward getting the Akai MPD16 because of it's pads being just like an MPC. My production is mainly sample-based and done using Fruityloops. The Midiman comes with more data sliders and knobs which seems pretty useful, but all I need control over is panning and volume. Although the MPD16 comes with only 1 data slider, I like the fact it come with the utility software that allows u to map your sounds to the 16 pads (and have up to 2 banks) so u can grove with the sounds before actually recording. I believe the Oxygen 8 is a bit cheaper and more available in stores, as well. Anyone have any experience with either of the two... I need help making a final decision. Thanks.
