yeah! new athlon thunderbird - new mainboard - a new studio-pc is like x-mas and birthday together.....

but...... since the reinstallation my midiconnection is wrong... ( is there something i forgot?)

    the problem:
2x2 midisport usb midi-interface is connected through a delta 44 soundcard between my dr.770 drumcomputer and cubase 5. sometimes the midi-notes are timed right, sometimes they have a latency at about 1 second.

the drivers are right, the dr770 says:"bulk buffer full" when the problem comes. have i forgot anything in the cubase midisetting

Sounds as if some piece of equipment is transmitting too much data down the midi line and filling up the buffers really quickly (most likely the computer). Maybe some kind of SYSEX is being sent at the same time as MIDI notes. I can't see how - but thats my 2 cents.
Whyyyyy why mm big monkeeee pie. Donkeee go pieee-yieeeee.
