Has anyone used the MAudio Solaris Multi-Pattern Condenser Microphone for vocals? If so how did you like it?

How would it compare to a rode mic?

    Thanks

I have not tried the mic in question but would say that both the Solaris and the Capacitor based Luna are Chinese made and though Chinese mics can be very good as can Russian , Octavia being a case, I feel they are slightly overpriced for the marketplace they occupy. However the Solaris is very well priced at $229 so it does make it appealing. The Rode has a good history and is a well built mic and the frequency response and range is quite good and price drops have made them even more appealing.
BUT like I said I haven't tried the Solaris and it could be a stunner based on the reviews I have read.
