I just popped me a new laptop, which I run FLstudio to make rap/hip-hop beats. I use a laptop because Im constantly traveling and need the versatility. Problem is, the sound quality is sh!t.

So just wanted to know what you guys suggest. I've been lookin at this indigo card, dunno if its any good. Any suggestions?

theyre not good for recording, but should be ok for makin beats in FL (if u dont need to record anything or sample)... its the speakers... laptop speakers suck.. test it out wit any other speaker in ur house and get nice headphones

What's your budget ? Did you check e.g. the RME cards ?

i still think its the speakers... if u dont record any instruments or sample.. u dont really NEED to upgrade (even though it would help a little)

Depends on how much money you are willing to spend on this card. Also, do you have firewire?
