I want your opinion on this
I'm going to buy this :

Macintosh G4 400Mhz 512MB ram, 10GB HD, as new:900$
(comes with free audio setup and instalation)
Korg 1212 audio card: adat+analog + sp/dif I/O: 230$
Korg Electribe ER-1 Drum muchine: 250$

Yea for the price your getting them at it's a good deal. But bear in mind that even if they were $10, it wouldn't be a good deal if they won't offer you the utilities you need - while I, for example, might value the equipment, and therefore make it $1500 well spent - if its not what you want - you'd just be throwing away money.

What exactly are you planning on using it for? What kind of music etc. Do you prefer hardware of software synths and samplers? Are you familiar with Mac OS? If you have existing compositions, are they compatible with the Mac software?
 
Yea well it sounds like a top deal then. Go for it. You'll enjoy the ER1 deffinately. and the Mac will be fine since your familiar with it.
