    Hi there!
I'm starting my own home studio, if it can be called that.I got a good PC computer, using Cakewalk and/or Cubase, Korg X3, Gigastudio as a sampler, small Boss BX-800 mixer, some OK mics...
Can anybody tell me what basic things are needed for developing my recording proces.
I was thinkin' about gettin' a Virus, so I could cower all those "analog" sounds, but then again, maybe there is something I should buy instead:confused:
So, please, help me and tell me what should I buy at this point. And again, what are the basic instrumens/things I must have for decent recording!
    Thanx!

    Compressor/StereoEQ/FX/Good Mixer

In the meantime, you're probably set to go w/the music.

    Roland MC-303 kicks ***.
    wooooooooohahaha

hey Alexandar, I hope you know Funktastico was joking; please don't get the MC303 !!

The Virus is a very good option for VA sounds, as well as the Novation Supernova II .
=> What style of music would you like to produce ?

I was worrying there that someone thought the MC-303 was worth more than $5!!!
