A Good Soundcard pick

Whats a BEST BUY for a soundcard needing :

MIDI, Phantom Power, MicPreamp, 2 XLR and also 2 1/4" inputs for guitars. Also needs to be great quality. Please help!

I do have an Mbox but I dont like how it doesnt have MIDI and I cant use it in cubase. Pisses me off. I have Midi on my Delta 1010LT but i dont have phantom power on it. Crap huh? I got Phantom on the mbox though. I want an all in one thing though that works with anything and then have the mbox for doing what I want with protools!

I have the 1820m and the 1212m and am rather pleased . They need a little more work on their drivers and it they be way ahead of the pack for anything in the same price range .


edit - and for an extra $100 you get the Emulator X sampler

i think the 1820M is the best choice. i have the E-mu1212m pretty mcuh the same xept without pre amps

I use my mbox with cubase, although i'm buying a fireface in the next week or so.

I'm keeping my mbox in case anyone brings over PT session files.

Why do you want midi on your interface? A seperate interface is a better way to go, unless you only have one midi device and only need the 1 in/out.
