i'd like to have my delay, flanger, phaser... synched with the tempo of the song,so which is better to do, putting the bmp directly into the FX box or linking the FX with the other equipment via MIDI...
On my gear the easiest way to do it is to route the MIDI in and set the box to take its timing info from the MIDI clock. But not all of it will accept MIDI timing info. Check your manuals as a last resort.
