Dual Prossessors? Alien ware

Well I'm gonna buy an alien ware computer and I'm considering gitting dual prossessors and I was wondering if it is really worth it. will it help me out that much?
 
Dual Processors will give a performance boost in programs that are designed to utilize them, which is not most.
 
It is worth it if you can afford it. But a single CPU can suffice so a dual CPU set-up may not be needed. It also depends on what your doing too. Are you going to be running 40 VST tracks 20 audio tracks with EQ and compression on them? If so then a dual CPU may be in order. There are a lot of recording apps now that support dual CPU's now anyway. But it all lies in if you really are going to need that kind of DSP muscle.
 
AlienWare makes good setups, but it reflects on the price. If you know what you're doing, you can build an equal setup for half the price of AW systems.
 
Alienware is overpriced BS...Build your own, or find a friend who can. Unless of course your'e just very wealthy and can afford to stretch it-
