How much of an upgrade is a 1010 from a delta 2496 if your not worried about the extra i/o's they provide. On improved sound quality alone how much of a step up is it and is it worth the loot?

    1010: frequency response: 22Hz-22kHz, +0.3/-0.2dB

    dynamic range: 114dB (A-weighted) (A/D and D/A)

    signal-to-noise ratio: 114dB (typical, A-weighted)

    THD: < 0.002% (A/D), < 0.002% (D/A)

You get a bit dynamic range. Would you but a 10 in 10 out sound card just becuase it might sound a tiny bit better?
