Cubase continues to play

Hi, I was wondering has anyone come across Cubase continuing to play an instrument on a track that has finished within a mix?

This is doing my head in!!!!!!!!!

Any help would be appreciated...

Its every instrument I use. I can start a track bring in toms or hi-hats, but they continue to play even though that segment has finished.

Very confusing!!!!!
 
At the moment, it is with sampled drums. But, this can happen, with synth parts as well from my virus. It is very annoying
