anyone know of a super super simple el cheapo little hardware sequencer that you can just plug midi in/out and record midi with no extra bells or whistles or anything?

looking at around $100

So you want a sampler to use as a sequencer?
 
sampling? no

its for a guy who I record at my studio who writes his tunes on a big 88 key keyboard and also plays bass / guitar etc in his trax

i wanted him to get one so he could record himself playing on the piano and then could practice bass etc along with himself

that QY70 looks great! thanx for that
