Hi, I'm looking to in the future create cds for my local church. I was wondering what are the best audio editors out there to produce a really good quality cd. I have just have sound forge on the computer now and don't if it has the capabilities to produce cds that people will get their moneys worth(I didn't get a chance to do anything with sound forge yet).

sound forge is just an editor and processing platform. sonic foundry also makes a program called CD Architect that will make a master CD but that's an added expense. If you're looking for a lowcost solution to making descent CD masters and MUCH better editing capabilities go with Wavelab from Steinberg. It will take you a lot further than sound forge and actually sounds much more like what you put into it. If your looking for some thing a little more professional look at Sequoia from Samplitude. This one costs a little more but rivals most of the high end professional editing and mastering systems.
Hope it helps and good luck!

Nathan
