Help me.......
I have a mac computer and VST cubase but cannot hear anything that I produce. I have figured out that I need a midi sound card. Is that right? If so can you recommend a decent cheap one or a web site that will tell me a bit more about them.

Depends how you mean that you can't hear anything you produce...
if you mean that you're using VSTi's (the soft-synths that you can use from inside Cubase, like Neon and the USM), then no you don't need a sound-card, all Macs ship with a soundcard so you should be able to hear something. However, if you're saying that you want to control external modules with Cubase then you'll need a midi interface. There are plenty of USB units out there which will do the job. If you want an all in one unit (midi and soundcard) that's also a control surface for Cubase then check out the Tascam US428.
