I use Sonar 3. I was wondering if anyone has come across any shareware that detects tempo. Basically this would be used for matching the tempo of a sample to that of your composition.

I found one, but for some reason Sonar wont recognize it after I copied the .dll file into the plugins folder.

The best thing to do is spend 10 bucks on a Behringer BC100.

You need to get yourself some kind of beat mapper. Theres one implied in Acid Pro which I use in adddittion to Cubase SL 2.0. What a BeatMapper does for you is basicallydetermine the tempo of a sample. You just select one Bar when you import the sample and then it adjusts it to the tempo of the song.
