Akai MPD16 issues with XP..

not true man, my mpd is running through usb with xp and it works beautifully. i didnt even install any drivers, which was kinda weird, as soon as i plugged it in the computer recognized new hardware and it worked right out the box,
 
ight this how u fix the problem. plug-in the mpd let it open up to the Found New Hardware menu. click the Adv. button where it allows u to search for the file. click on the .sys file and then it will run through. that simiple!
 
under the link to download the driver on akaiproDOTcom is a link to download: MPD16- pc/windows software installer (392 KB zip file) <-- thats your install program you need this and the driver.
