How much are you intending to spend?

I swear by my Mackies (824), but they are quite expensive.

If you're on lower budget, try Alesis Monitor One or ESI near 05.

It's important to buy a good pair of monitors, but it's more important, buy what you buy, know how is it's sound and learn how to work with them: each monitors have details that diffs from others and that's what you must know about them.

I work with a pair of Yamaha MSP5 and when you know how do them work you can make the adjusts in the correct way.
