I produce beats for rappers on FL Studio and have been doing so professionally for 4 years now. In a philosophy class that I took in high school we learned that you can tell what the next phase of art is going to sound like is by taking the current sound, mix it with the sound that has previously passed and you will get what the next step in music should be.
I have a few ideas as to what it should be, I have taken inspiration from Lil Uzi Vert (Malay Raw production) , along with Metro boomin. They have invented their own unique sounds.
I like to make sure that all my music has a vibe to it that can bring out very strong emotions. This leaves the rapper to only have to maych the picture that I am going for with his/her lyrics.
