Is there a way to reduce line noise? Hey all, Is there a inexpensive way to reduce line noise? even without spending 100$ on a noise gate filter? My parents told me I cannot spend 1 more dollar on stuff for the rest of the year. I have been noticing a bit of noise through my amp when when trying to record through my amp with a microphone....(used to be a lot more) Anybody can help me? 3ks a lot.

From what i understand it's the actual electricity and frequencies (whatever i don't know shit about this..hheheh) from the different electronics to the wiring in your walls. You'll find out alot more about this if you just google it but otherwise just experiment.

think of how all your equipment is placed, if theres a tv nearby, how the wires are overlapping, etc...I haven't had much success with it myself in my current (hurhurr) setup but I've noticed the fuzz is different depending on were i am...even what computers i hook it up to (some computers electricity is grounded better then others)

but i'm just rambling at this point so ill stop.
