I'm being purely honest here. Some people don't have a voice apt for singing no matter how much they practice. If you're white and surburban, you'll never be convincing as a hardcore rapper from the streets. This is why it's important to listen to all different types of genres before settling on one. Maybe you're playing the wrong instrument and there's another instrument you'd be really good at.
