I felt that the part without the 808 fitted the beat more thoo so if I were u i whoulda get rid of the 808s probably....cuz the beat is pretty chill and atmospheric and I dont think the beat is maxed out enough to be a 808 beat so no idea to put 808 cuz it sounds better smooth. thats just my opinion tho...

"to the Top" was ill!

Love the way it built up and the twinkling synths/arp was really nice! Super uplifiting/celestial vibe! Drums were nice too, very well mixed overall!

When you're making such minimalistic beats, you have to be sure your synths sound catchy and unique. I didn't hear that in this beat. It may sound OK for a beginner, but not for someone who's selling it off soundclick for $20 per lease. Mix sounds fine to me tho. That's just how I feel.
