What genre is this?

Hey. It's a 120bpm house-ish kind of track. but what is it exactly?
And could I get some opinions on the vocals? Are they bad, ok or good? What could I improve?
(don't mind the technical part, it's still a WIP: many transistions are missing and the mix/master is of course not final).

Nice track man, sounds like Calvin Harris

I like it in general and wouldn't change much, except maybe the brass parts, I wouldn't use that sound. Also the lead is a bit thin if you ask me. This kind of track needs something more in your face The rest is pretty much there and sounds cohesive.

thanks! I totally agree - the lead IS too thin, it was already in my todo list to work on it
And you mentioned brass - do you mean the sax melodies?

Thanks for your feedback friend! Nice track you have hear man! To answer your question I would call it a house track IMHO. With regard to vocals, they are pretty good, but it sounds heavily auto tuned at times. I quite like the female vocals, very soulful.

i agree that the lead could be beefed up, just by layering another synth in there and maybe a saturation plugin.

overall very nice track! I can't wait to hear when it's mixed!
