This is arguably the best instrumental I've produced. Hired a session vocalist to perform the chorus I wrote and also brought in a session trumpet player. Honestly, it doesn't cost nearly as much as you'd think if you look around and the difference it makes can be enormous.
All in all I'm happy with it, though the vocal could be a little more front and center. On the plus side, the vocal blending a little makes it sound more like a live performance which I don't mind at all.
