Tory lanez & drake type beat with sample (need feedback on mix) f4f

Not saying the beats bad but I just wasn't feeling it personally I think it just lacked rhythm and energy to keep listeners entertained. I do think the mix sounds calm though each instrument can be heard nothings muddy or lacking but the bass does sound a lil off to me it might need to be tuned.

I agree with HailCaesar. It sounded a bit muddy, specially when the kick drum kicks in. With an good mix, sidechain the kick and bass specially. Now the drums sounded flat. Mix them good flatten drums, then bus them out. I promise if you do this, your drums will sounds much more nicer.
