I've been experimenting with other sounds and samples lately. I produced and recorded this a few days ago. Not my best mix and still trying to learn and catch up on a few things.
I had a chorus but I muted it due to horrific autotunage.

Reminds of me some early 2000's rnb. The beat needs a bit more going on its sounds too empty. All you can really hear is the vocals and the hats. Just focus on the mix a bit more and each individual element and you are golden.
