Needs more miscellaneous percussion elements. Add some shakers or more accompanying hi hats, maybe with a little more swing and dynamics. Personally, I don't like using samples unless I could add more than a handful of instruments onto it, but that's just me.

I'd still make it then, but wouldn't be happy enough to make a record off of it. And it's just not worth the paperwork if it only has one instrument and a simple clap and kick combo, lol.
