Hello, I'm new to this thread and I would like some tips on how get around posting.

Im new to this forum and I would like some advice and tips on how to get around posting, shortcuts, links, notifications & etc.
Also I tried posting a thread With a link as my first post and it said I couldnt post a link because I haven't met the post requirement of having 5 posts prior. If that makes sense. Can someone please explain that to me or is there a way to get around that?
