The Beginning [F4F]

hell yeah man this is dope. I dig the sample. Interesting drums. The mix is pretty good but I think that 808 bass could be a few db louder I'm barely hearing it on my monitors. Other than that this is a dope one!
 
The percussion was too muddy - that distracts me from the actual melody of the beat. Also, you have too many random sounds appearing in and out of the mix which also distracts. Sometimes less is more. Not bad overall though

I think the overall mix could use some refinement. The main melody is being drowned out by the characters of the kick drum and 808. Minor tweaking to set everything into a pocket would be ideal in my opinion. I do like the beat itself I think its arranged nicely and it knocks just minor mixing details nothing crazy keep it up!
