I like the voice sample, drums are good. Snare for my taste to much high end. Nice oldschool vibe.
Arrangement needs some work. For my taste it needs more instruments, also no bass at all in this song. It is missing completetly. then you need to drop at some point build up again. Also no chorus and verse, it was like the same loop playing thru the whole track... i would change that.

(edit) I think you listened to genesis. I agree fully with all your criticisms, and I made tons of changes to that one. The biggest problem was the lack of bass.
Anyways, Ill check you out in the morning

i clicked the link in your first post. So you should change the link, cause it brought me to the song i criticised.
this one is better, but nothing is panned only one trumpet.... mix needs rework. there is a percussion like loop or another drumloop, this could be panned to the other side. everything is playing in the middle.
the vocal sample is nice. nice groove to the sample. chorus sample work is also good. track has a nice vibe. arrangement is better on this one. could use a point where it gets sparse. but overall way better then the other track.
