i used to be a guy who dug in the crates and took insperation from dilla
i quit sampling like 1 year ago, this is how you cut samples!

Wow, like that beat. Does those vinyl cracks come from the drums or have they been added later? Can you tell why you stopped using samples?
 
cracks are from the kicks and hihats real deal :)

well sampling limits you, you cant really sell your beats, or put them on a CD, i wanted to move on and improve, even tho i love the 90s music.
i picked up the piano like 4-5 months ago. now i can play what ever i want, its amazing to being able to put those tunes in your head down on the keyboard, really amazing :)
