Sup, FP? Cornell Younge here with a submission for Breathe Carolina's competition hosted by Talenthouse. This band is known for combining Electronica and Rock, so I made a remix that has elements of Hip-Hop + Rock + EDM (kind of like the original mix of the song).

I haven't heard the original but you've got a good blend of styles here. I find that piano to sound a bit out of place, maybe some more reverb would help.

A lot of what you've done is great, but I agree that the compression keeps it from feeling like it ever grows in intensity. There has to be an ebb and flow in every style of music or the gestures will fall flat. Back off the compression and it'll sound more lively.
