[Soulful House] Remix Project Feedback Needed

I was asked to see if I could do anything smooth house with this acappella. The original tempo was 89BPM. I am pretty happy with the direction and overall feel, but would love a few extra sets of critical ears to help me find anything hideously wrong, out of place, etc. before going back to the artist. So any feedback is welcome. Thanks

nice song ! ive gave it a listen and at first i thought, maybe another kind of bassline would be more fitting. but once the vocals hit in it made me question that.

but on the otherside the bassline gives me a feeling of more energy then the rest of your track does, so can be a thought to think about. i prefer like hmm how u say more long basslines instead of the wob wob in house music, but thats maybe more my own taste.

overall really nice song ! i enjoyed listening to it. keep it up :D

I appreciate that you have picked up on one of the areas that I struggled mightily with (and I always struggle with), the bassline. I went through 4 or 5 different and settled in on something simple. However, I am always open to changing it up, and I am going to explore that. I will post up again when I have something I feel good about. Thanks for the feedback!

Hey man, good to see a fellow NJ'er on here! I live in FL now but grew up there

This sounds really good, excellent work! I really like how you mixed the percussion all the way through, sounds stellar on my monitors!

I hate to mimic The Jack Effect's feedback on the bassline, but after struggling to find any other area of critique, this is the only one I can think of. It sounds good as-is, but at times almost sounded like you were getting ready to mix in another song, due to the energy level difference.

Regardless, it sounds great! If you decide to make any tweaks, I would love to give a listen!

If you could, would love to hear your feedback on my new song :) https://www.futureproducers.com/for...oducer-night-here-my-second-full-song-511626/

Great vibes! I don't really like deep house tracks that are too long, but this one kept me interested until the end! I liked the bassline more in this last project. The only change that I can think about is that you may play more with the percussions variation. Overall, great tune. Looking forward to the official release!

If you have some time, please have a listen on my last project: https://www.futureproducers.com/for...ivers-heights-remix-what-do-you-think-511517/

I like the track a lot. basically all the high end stuff, snare, cowbell, cymbals, shakers are very nice and flow very nice with the song.
beautiful vocals. the electric piano is also beautiful.
i would use more variety in the beat, it kind of feels like the same thing throughout the song.

Hi. I understand your bassline struggle i always have the same issue. Anyway. I like the bass line, but it seems to get a little muddy down there. Maybe try to tighten it up abit, removing a little low-end on the bass. Great groove nice and smooth, the overall sound levels are good - and great percussion!.

damn im glad you posted on my thread, otherwise i wouldve never found this. Everything is really smooth, and flows well, i never really got bored listening to it. Great vibes!
