(Something New) House & Folk

Hey guys,


House is a genre we haven't done at all before. We really just wanted to make a pure dance vibe, but with a twist we feel like you don't get to hear too much in this genre of music. In the Middle of the song and Outro of the track are specific parts you could say are Lumineer's inspired. Next weekend we will be going to a studio with a group of friends to record choir over those parts as well. But until then we are very curious to see what people think so far.

Hmm, nice start! I'm a bit disappointed by the first drop because you lost the (dancing) momentum created by the beginning IMO. Your drop (with the gated voice) sounds more like a variation or a breakdown of a main part -that never comes- even after with the hats. The part starting at 1:50 is really nice. After that, it sounds a bit like a repeat of all of it. So, this is a very very good work, I'd try to find a way to make the "main loop" more overwhelming right after the build up (what about a big fat hihat, an alternative bass, another clap, .... ?)
Nothing else to say, the technical part is really good.
