Need feedback on my Gorillaz remix [F4]

Like the laid back dub feel. Good arrangement and key change/modulation. The mix needs some work though. Nothing is popping. Its all like one big bowl of soup. Work on your EQ and compressing. It takes practice but you will get it. Keep em coming!

The first thing coming to me when I listen to it is that your kick and snare need to be louder while your bass needs to be quieter. Just try to find the correct balance between these elements because the way you mix it makes the song muddy. If you put your drums in the center of your mix, you are going to get a cleaner sound and I think it's going to be a better experience for listeners. (the song will have more impact on them too)

The melody is really nice and the leads/mid elements you made are really cool though. It feels like I am in front of a beautiful beach with the blue water and stuff haha.
