Mamba [returning feedback]

This is a preview to the drop of my new track Mamba which I am still working on. I feel as though the drop is finished but would appreciate any feedback & opinions that may say otherwise.

Cheers man, yeah I'll reduce the sidechaining a bit and experiment to find what amount works best. Thanks for the feedback, I have just returned the favour! :)
 
Interesting melody.
I have have to agree with Spasmoid on the sidechaining note.
And just imo. I felt like the snare at 0:23 fell pretty flat. Kudos on not using that overused snare sample. But maybe some big reverb to it? But then again that what everybody else does. So kudos for being different lol.

The intro buildup is well done - and the Mamba sample fits the song like a glove. Over the course of the song, the bass and drums are lost so definitely EQ or overdrive them a bit.

Hey man! Really nice, unique sound.

The kick sounds like someone hitting a pillow with a baseball bat though (lol), maybe tweak your side chaining so it cuts through more?
The main sound of the melody (that strange whistle/flute type thing) sounds a little analog, try adding some reverb or double to track and pan both 30-40% away from each other to add depth?

Overall great work. Maybe you could return the feedback on my work too?
