I wouldn't be able to tell you genres at all,

I'm guessing you haven't worked on processing your synths or mixing yet because that obviously needs work. The song is fairly linear, aka I feel like the song doesn't have a climax, sort of like I'm waiting for a part that never shows up. It's the kind of soundtrack I would use in a video game or anime!

What do you mean by processing can you explain more? And what exactly counts as a climax and where should it go?

Nice intro. The idea is great. I feel like you could make the synth brighter - maybe consider some reverb and delay. Maybe increase the volume of the synth, as well. Overall, great WIP.
